Arlene Clark 'Tennis for Kids"Program
The purpose of the Arlene Clark “Tennis For
Kids” Program is to provide financial
assistance for group lessons for children 9-18 years old,
who otherwise may not be able to participate. The amount
awarded depends on level of play and need, as defined in
the application.
The application is available at Vancouver Tennis Center,
with a deadline each year of August 10th. Please phone VTC
(696-8123) for more information about this program.
The Arlene Clark “Tennis For Kids”
Program was started in 2000 by Arlene Clark,
USPTA (retired), and Kevin Young, USPTA and former
director of VTC.
The Arlene Clark
“Tennis For Kids” Program
is a 501 © (3), tax
exempt account. It is one of the fund-raising activities of
the Vancouver Tennis
Center Foundation, a nonprofit organization that
provides support and enhancements to the Vancouver Tennis
Center.
Contributions to the Arlene Clark
“Tennis For Kids” Program
are welcomed, and checks
should be made out to Vancouver Tennis
Center Foundation.
